Located in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina, this fabulous country inn engulfs you in natural beauty with significant historical value. While always a successful plantation, it was not until the Tuckers took over that it became a booming enterprise, putting out one million pounds of rice each year. From its great hay days in the mid to late 1800’s until the present, Litchfield Plantation has always been a place that was filled with a magical quality. And now families from all over the world can enjoy this magic while staying in luxury.

Litchfield Plantation went from a prominent working plantation to a luxury inn when it was purchased by the Litchfield Plantation Company after it was sold by the Parson Family in the late 1960’S. The original house is now a bed and breakfast for visitors and the old carriage house is now used as a private dinner club. Even though it is not an old glorious working plantation anymore, it has been transformed into another form of glory; one that makes travelers feel special and pampered to their very core.

Along the path to the main house you will be treated to the amazing site of the avenue of oaks that surround you on each side of the driveway. The entire property hosts hundreds of regal oak trees over the 400 acres of land. You can dine at the upscale Carriage House Club and frolic on the private beach. There is a marina with access to the intercostal waterway for those who are fishing and boating enthusiasts.
